The various formats proposed by Antico Pastificio Morelli of course had to include the multicoloured pasta, a perfect combination of colours and flavours, obtained exclusively from natural raw materials of the highest quality.

All the variations proposed by our pasta factory are in fact produced with traditional methods that enhance the flavour of the wheat without compromising on quality and freshness, to create true Italian pasta, as it was once made by the grandmothers of yesteryear. And these are precisely the characteristics that distinguish our pasta from all other brands: Italian wheat semolina, bronze drawing and low temperature drying, exclusive formats and colours taken from nature, good and nutritious. Making pasta, according to the Morelli family, is not just a mundane task but a passion fuelled day after day by imagination and by a love for raw materials and for good Italian food.

The Antico Pastificio Morelli's multicoloured pasta packs can be combined according to the colours and placed in a basket as a gift for the Christmas or Easter holidays, a very welcome gift for all lovers of good Italian cuisine. Each pack of pasta, in fact, has a very detailed label and a container made from recyclable clear plastic, which makes the size and colours of the pasta visible, becoming a perfect gift pack.

RAINBOW TAGLIATELLE

One of the most interesting pasta formats that we propose is rainbow tagliatelle. It is a format created with Italian raw material and with beetroot, paprika, spinach and cuttlefish ink, which give the pasta absolutely natural colour and flavour. Suitable for vegetable- and meat-based sauces with a light consistency.

CALAMARI WITH CUTTLEFISH INK AND WHEAT GERM

Another interesting format is that of calamari with cuttlefish ink and wheat germ, a full-bodied format that lends itself to fish-based condiments. During cooking, in fact, it releases the characteristic fragrance of cuttlefish and wheat germ that makes each dish unique.

THREE-FLAVOUR FUSILLI

For lovers of seasonal pestos, Antico Pastificio Morelli offers three-flavour fusilli: a riot of colours, pleasing to the eye and to the palate thanks to the turgid consistency of the pasta that always remains “al dente”. It is precisely for this reason that it can be flavoured with seasonal pestos such as fresh and nutritious basil, pistachio or rocket pesto.

TOMATO AND WHEAT GERM HEARTS

Made exclusively with Tuscan semolina, the tomato and wheat germ hearts have a heart shape and the red colour of cherry tomatoes, an ingredient that gives it the characteristic pinkish colour. It can be seasoned with the classic fresh tomato and parmesan sauce and given as a gift for a special occasion such as a birthday party or on Valentine's Day.

THREE-COLOUR TREES AND STARS ALBERELLI E STELLE PASTA

For the Christmas holidays to be spent with the family, an exclusive format that has the shape of little trees and stars: it is a type of pasta made in three different colours, to make the table cheerful and lively just as the Christmas atmosphere requires.

5-FLAVOUR FARFALLE

Tasty and versatile, Antico Pastificio Morelli offers a timeless classic of regional Italian cuisine: 5-flavour farfalle. Obtained with beetroot, turmeric spinach and cuttlefish ink, it is a format that lends itself to fish-based condiments such as cream and salmon and, why not, even to tasty pasta salads perfect for spring and summer.

6-FLAVOUR PAPILLONS

A more original alternative to the classic farfalle is the 6-flavour papillons, made with chard, spinach, turmeric, chilli pepper and cuttlefish ink. They are large butterflies to be consumed on holidays or at Sunday lunches with special condiments, just like the occasions when you will propose them: a format that will amaze your guests.

ITALIA LINGUINE, TAGLIATELLE AND FUSILLONI

If you love long sizes and Italian tricolour, Antico Pastificio Morelli produces three classic pasta shapes based on Italian semolina in honour of our flag: Linguine Italia, Tagliatelle Italia and fusilloni Italia, made with colours derived from natural ingredients. The first ones are perfect to combine with fish or a nut-based cream because they enhance every ingredient. Instead, the others are delicious with a Bolognese sauce or with the classic meat sauce, while the fusilloni are suitable for wild boar sauce or to be served with sausages and mushrooms.

6-FLAVOUR FIOCCHETTI E STRINGHETTE

More suitable for children are the bows and the 6-flavour stringhette: two attractive and colourful formats that are also suitable for soups based on legumes and vegetables or simply with fresh tomato.
